Cairdeas is a community based organisation which offers services to those who use drugs and have a history of drug use. The project works to community development principles and adopts a person centered approach to its work.

We promote harm reduction and seek to promote full participation of people who use drugs in their community in order to break down the barriers to social inclusion. Cairdeas operates a low threshold service. Our services are as follows:

  • An Advocacy Service

  • SUDS- Service Users Developing Solidarity (a forum for people who use drugs)

  • Stepladder Training Course

More information about the services provided by Cairdeas can be found on our services page here.
